5 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA DESERT

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – ROSE VALLEY – DADES VALLEY

After having breakfast in your hotel we will pick you up and drive to sahara. We will drive by Tizi nTichka a very high mountain pass (2260). We will stop at Ait Benhaddou, a worldwide heritage site, Famous for being the main filming location for several international Hollywood films. We will continue the road through Kelaat Mgouna and stop at Dades gorges where we will have a delicious dinner and stay the night in.

DAY 2 : DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – CAMEL TREK

After having breakfast we will continue our travel through Boulmane dades, a small town that expanded little by little. We will stop at Todgha gorges particularly spectacular in the evening when the Rocks are coloured in the bands of bright sunlight and dark shadow we will have break for lunch in somewhere in the beautiful Gorges. At around 5 pm we will ride camels to the nomad camp so we would enjoy a nomad night in the heart of desert.

DAY 3 : CAMEL TREK – ZIZ VALLEY –  ZIZ GORGES – AZROU – FEZ

After watching the beautiful sunrise in the desert, we will have breakfast and drive to Ziz valley and Ziz gorges, and from Erfound to Midelt we will drive by a formidable route overlooking the Oued ziz. You can see caves carved in cliffs. We will stop at Addakhil Hassan dam which was completed in 1971, it supplies water to all the regions of Errachidia. You will notice the change in scenery as we cross the valley ziz known also as Tafilalt. We will take a break in Midelt and have lunch and then proceed to cedar forest in Azrou, to play with a wide variety of apes and monkeys.at late afternoon we will arrive to Fez.

DAY 4 : FES GUIDED TOUR

After having breakfast we will start our trip around Fez, one of the most important cities of the kingdom, and actually it is believed to be the first built city by the Idrissids, it is the spiritual, cultural, scientific and artistic capital of Morocco, walking down its narrow ancient streets of the medina you would feel as if time had stopped in the middle age, we will visit historical sites and buildings like the Quaraouine mosque which is also considered as the first university to ever exist founded in 859. It is a prestigious center for the Arab world, its influence grew as the Marinids took charge over it. Fez was divided into two ^parts fortunately they were reunited by Almoravids. And in the 11th century Fez became one of the major cities of Islam. At sunset we will drive upwards to a wonderful hill where we can overlook the whole city in one scenery. After that we go back to the Riad to rest and get ready for the next day.

DAY 5 : FES – MEKNES – RABAT – CASABLANCA

After having breakfast we will continue our journey by driving to Casablanca via Meknes and Rabat. We will stop at both cities and visit their monuments like El Hdim palace, Sahrij and Bab el mansour for Meknes. We will have lunch in Rabat which is the current capital of Morocco. Later afternoon we will drive you to Casablanca and that would be the end of our services.
