6 DAYS ADVENTURE TOUR FROM TANGIER

DAY 1 : TANGIER – TETOUAN – CHEFCHAOUEN

Our first day together will start off with picking you up from your hotel In Tangier. Then we go straight towards Chefchaouen ‘the pearl of north’, or the blue city as people like to call it . its name derives from the phrase “chouf chouen” which literally means look at homes , those stylized houses with a fine touch of both Andalusian and European architecture . So you will have the chance to explore its narrow streets in the old medina, take pictures for souvenirs, and then we visit Rass el Ma a water source that is used for irrigation and washing clothes. We’re sure you’ll be struck by the extravagant beauty of its narrow streets adorned with green plants and red roses. We will also take a long walk besides the dignifying running river of this charming town , and drink mint tea in the grand square called “ Plaza Uta el Hamam” .  you will stay the night at a beautiful hotel and have dinner as well in Chefchaouen.

 

DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN – MEKNES – FES

We will depart at 8 a.m. in the Morning. We will  Drive To Fes through the tall Rif Mountains and Meknes.  One of the most ancient vast imperial cities in Morocco. another dignifying part of Meknes is the medina which includes the intricately decorated Dar jamai palace museum , the vibrant souks , has El Hedim Palace «which means literally the square of destruction « , vis-à-vis the grand giant gate “Bab Mansour” , the best point for exploration , The biggest open square in the city , it was once as busy as the Jemaa el-Fnaa in Marrakech , with acrobats , storytellers and snake charmers playing their trade . we will continue to Fes for Overnight and accommodation.

 DAY 3 : FES GUIDED TOUR:

You will have all day to  explore Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, home to the world’s first university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence. Surrounded by huge defensive walls, it seems suspended in a time warp, somewhere between the middle Ages and the modern. Here we will have our local guide in the medieval Medina you will be visiting the famous tanneries and the Karaouine mosque. After lunch, in a typical Moroccan restaurant in the Medina, you’ll visit the Merenid tombs and experience a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Check into your Accommodation.

 

DAY 4 : FEZ – AZROU – ZIZ GORGES & ZIZ VALLEY – DESERT ERG CHEBBI – CAMEL TREK TOUR:

After breakfast we will leave the city. Driving through Middle Atlas mountains . we will make a quick stop at cedar forest in Azrou , take a few photos with entertaining and well loved apes and monkeys . We will continue our trip to Midelt the ‘apple’ of morocco , Errachidia , and Erfoud to explore fossils that’s left to be found for thousands of years . Then we will pass by Hassan Addakhil dam which supplies water to all the region of Errachidia. and last but not least we will stop at the desert of Erg Chebbi. You will find camels waiting for you to take over the vast seas of sand whilst the sun sets painting beautiful scenery in front of your gaze. Once we arrive to the nomad camp we will have dinner in a very charming atmosphere with Berber music played and under a starry sky.

DAY 5 : CAMEL DESERT TOUR – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – OUARZAZATE

  When sun starts to rise make sure to wake up and watch the fascinating scenery as we are sure you would love it. We will return to the hotel so you can shower and have breakfast. We then drive to Rissani and Sijilmassa. The last was the capital of Tafilalt region and a very important center for trading between morocco and other southern African countries. It was founded in 757 by Arab leader Moussa ben Nasser. It also is a home to ruins of Moulay Ismail castle which was destructed by another tribe in the 1818. Also the Alaouit dynasty the current ruling family originated from that region. We will have lunch somewhere between the gorgeous gorges of Todgha. . At late evening we will arrive to Ouarzazt the gate to Sahara we will have both supper and breakfast and spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 6 : OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH

Today’s main stop is the one and only Ouarzazat the African Hollywood , if you’re interested enough we will be having a special tour in the cinema studios and the cinema museum in case there’s no shooting. It is where many international movies were shot like Hideous Kinky , Gladiator , The last temptation of Christ , Babel and Alexander the great. We will also stop at Taourirt Kasbah founded in the 19th century, it gained recognition when the Glaoui family chose it as a home for them. We will then stop at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah a Unesco worldwide heritage site. The place’s fame has spread far and wide through international movies.  We will surely drive by the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi nTichka pass 2260m. And as afternoon comes we will be found in Marrakech.
